CATHOLIC COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN COLLECTION JUNE 1-2, 2013 - The Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) follows the Holy Father’s direction that we make good use of our digital presence in the world by making it easy to access the important ideals of the Catholic faith online and through television, radio, and print media. CCC provides content the way you need it, in podcasts for daily readings, on websites to connect with other faithful, and on social networking sites. Please be generous in this Collection and support this important work. Remember, half of your donations stay in our Archdiocese to support our communication needs. FORTNIGHT FOR FREEDOM OPENING MASS         

Archbishop William E. Lori will celebrate the Opening Mass of the 2^nd Fortnight for Freedom on Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at the Baltimore Basilica.  The Fortnight, June 21 to July 4, is an initiative of the U.S. Conference of Catholic bishops aimed at bringing Catholics together with people of all faiths for prayer, study, and peaceful action to remind ourselves and others about the importance of preserving the fundamental right of religious freedom.  The Mass will be nationally televised.  All are welcome.  DAY OF HOPE

The West Side Days Of Hope are scheduled for Saturday, August 17th at Robert C Marshall Park and Saturday, September 14th at Helen Mackall Park.
Volunteer? Service Provider? Church? - Sign Up! Its Easy!  -  Churches from all around the city and the region work together to make the Days Of Hope a reality. BINGO/PO-KE-NO – Wednesday, May 22^th in the Rectory See Ladell Smith after Saturday Mass and Dorothy Strickland or Mary Saxon after the 10 a.m. Mass to sign up   – All are welcome –

PRAYER WALK: - Bishop Madden will be leading his next prayer walk on Thursday, May 23^rd at St. Ambrose Parish in Park Heights.   As usual, the evening will begin with a light meal at 5:30 followed by the prayer walk and will end by 7:30. 

The warmer weather and longer days enables us to meet many people on the streets.  We hope to see you then. Please make an effort to be there.
